a quiet morning.
a small moment.

something in between.

this is how I've been taking photos
for as long as I remember.

only now,
am I putting myself and my camera out there.

those empty thumbnails -

they all start the same way.
empty.

like how we all enter this world
with nothing on us.

but here,
there is
nothing to perform.
nothing to become.

just a space
for something real.

like you.

how it works

for the first few,
i'm keeping it open.

you can decide what it felt like,
after.
what it was worth to you.

if it meant something,
you can leave something.

if it didn't,
you don't have to.

i'll start with twenty.

just to see
what this becomes.

the only thing i'll hold on to -
are the moments themselves.

so they can live here,
in these frames,

alongside the rest.

that's my promise -
nothing more than that.

just as you are.
